MSRP: Euros 2.5 (approx. $3.40) Website: www.quickboost.net Quickboost continues its efforts to remark every 1/72 Spitfire kit on the market with this new accessory for the new Airfix Mk.IX kit! The Airfix kit is a nice, simple kit that has some simplified detail to keep costs down. This new part from Quickboost will give an improvement in the look of the back end. The kit part is attached to the port fuselage half, so will need to be separated, but this should be a simple process, as is clean up of the resin. Besides the better rendition of the fabric covering, the resin part is much thinner, so it might pay to thin the insides of the fin before gluing them together. Of course, a separate rudder allows for repositioning to one side or the other if desired. A quick and inexpensive improvement and one that I can recommend.
