MSRP: 2.5 Euros (approx. $3.50) Website: www.quickboost.net Something for RAF bomber fans, here's a nice little replacement tail wheel set for the Vickers Wellington, the RAF's early war bomber mainstay. Intended for the Trumpeter kit, it can equally well be applied to any 1/72 Wellington kit - most all of them have tail wheels that are deficient in some way. I have the ancient Airfix kit in my stash, and you can see the difference… The set comes in two parts; a very finely cast leg and a separate wheel. The leg is very delicate and one will need to take great care when removing it from the casting block. The leg is complete all the way to the internal frame, so will need to be cut back for some kits, although the leg was retractable and should really have a bay, with no doors (on all but the earliest machines), to fit into.
