MSRP: $14.00 Website: www.zactomodels.com One of the issues with the Trumpeter kit of the Su-27 is that the wing tip pylons are slightly incorrect in shape, lack detail on the bottom and have the position lights in the wrong location. Who else but "Zactoman" aka Chris Wilson would come to the rescue. Heck, the kits missiles would hit the wings using the kit parts and that isn't right! This is my kind of aftermarket part- easy to use, looks great, great detail and works like a charm. You simply sand off the pour stub at the back, use the included wire to reinforce the part attachment to the wing and then prime and paint- simple. The kit part has no detail on the bottom so if you leave the station blank, it is a smooth part. Zactomodels parts have an accurate representation of the launch rail. The resin comes fully engraved and nary a seam line to find. I added a wash to the part but even better pics are located here: on Zactomodels web site. This is highly recommended as it adds a simple and needed correction to the kit and makes the missiles look correct.. My thanks to Chris Wilson and Zactomodels for the review sample.
