Description: From the AFV Modeller website: "AFV Modeller is the leading visual bi-monthly magazine for armoured vehicle modellers. AFV Modeller showcases the work of the very best modellers from around the world, shows techniques on how to achieve the best results and offers unique references."

This is an 8.25 by 11.625 inch magazine with 64 pages between the covers and produced on heavy stock paper. Other than the 1-page Table of Contents, the entire magazine is comprised of articles and there are no advertisements to be found.

Table of Contents:
  • The Devil's Own - Bronco's Staghound Armoured Car modeled by Charlie Down.
  • Hairspray Hetzer - Adam Wilder experiments with hairspray paint techniques on his Czech Insurgent Hetzer.
  • Marder III 7.62 - Antonio Martin Telio guides you through his 1:48TH SCALE Marder build.
  • Stairway to Heaven - Charlie Pritchett builds a T-72 from the Iraq / Iran War.
  • Sherman Up Close - David Doyle continues his series looking in detail at the Sherman variants.
  • One Sixteenth Superking - Part six of the Editor's[David Parker] ongoing Trumpeter King Tiger project.
  • Keeping Track - More new releases.
  • Up Sizing - Tasca's new 1:24th scale Panzer II.
Article Example: "Hairspray Hetzer" article by Adam Wilder I selected this because it shows very detailed steps that are instructional for every modeler.

[review image] This is an impressive article in that it not only demonstrates the Hairspray Technique, but also is an illustrated step-by step "how to" on advanced weathering. There are 66 photos that can be followed to learn these techniques.

Article Example: "One Sixteenth Superking" by David Parker David aptly explains the problem of the radio rack and contents, suggests a solution and provides lots of pictures of the process. Nothing more to say about this except it is an exquisite scratch build. I'm wishing I had the first 5 installments

I highly recommend this publication for the masterful techniques and results and in the way they are presented.
