MSRP: $9.95 Website: www.bronco-model.com One of the newest releases from Bronco is a complete set of tires for updating their kit of a SD.KFZ.221 (Kit #CB-35013). The kit contains ten parts on two sprues - five tires and five rims. The detail is not unlike that of a good premium resin kit with no flash and fine sharp details. Fantastic work! The kit tires are attached to the model by using the original parts in the kit. This makes this upgrade specifically for use on this kit. However, it has been noted that these tires and rims can be slightly modified for use on other kits of the same vehicle from different companies. The detail of the tire is excellent, which not only enhances its looks but also enhances the "personality" of the whole vehicle. This is so, due to the fact that the tires are exposed by design in such a way, which draws attention to them. That makes it a noticeable and very important upgrade, which has to look good. When most people view a kit, the comments made about details doesn't usually include mentioning the looks of the tires, but these tires will! The big outer lugs, along with the center tread, will make these tires stand out and demand attention. The tires do make a significant difference when viewing the vehicle as a whole. This is why I highly recommend this upgrade for the host kit. Very simple construction and well worth the money spent. I have seen them at Lucky Models (luckymodel.com) for $5.59 plus shipping.
