You might call the March issue of Model Art Magazine the Ferrari issue, as it covers 44 pages on the following models: 312T (1975), 312T2 (1976), F187/88C (1988), F310B (1997), F2007 and Pit crew (2007), F60 (2009) and the 512B LM N.A.R.T. (1979). This section actually starts with paint manufacturers and which of them provides the closest match to the model and year being discussed. I know little Japanese but the photos make it easy to follow. All the models have exceptional photographs with great depth of field that allows a lot of detail to be seen. The 2007 Ferrari model is also displayed in a diorama with 20 pit crew members that captures the realistic pose seen in a photo of the actual race car. In addition, a page is devoted to the uniforms of the pit crew, driver Kimi Raikkonen, and driver Felipe Massa.

The magazine has a section for kit reviews, generally 4 to 6 pages per review and has plenty of photos to show the details inside and out.
  • Imperial Japanese Navy Aircraft Carrier Soryu 1941 1/700 .
  • Imperial Japanese Navy Transport No 101 class 1/350 (Basically a LST with tanks unloading).
  • Tamiya Russian Heavy Self-propelled Gun JSU-152 1/35.
  • ICM WWII Soviet multiple launch rocket system BM-13-16N 1/35.
  • Bronco Pakistani Air Force JF-17 Thunder 1/48.
  • AKI Nakajima Ki-12 Japanese Army Experimental Fighter 1/72.
  • Trumpeter US Marine Corps AV-8B 1/32 .
This magazine like others in this field has a new kit section, a new decal and accessory section. The lack of English does hamper one's enjoyment of this part, but overall with the excellent photos I can recommend Model Art magazine, especially if they are covering an area that is of interest to you.

I would like to thank IPMS/USA and Model Art for the opportunity to review this issue.
