As a scale modeler's skill progresses eventually they will take the next step from brush painting the spray painting then they take the next step from spray painting to airbrushing. Most people don't really have a clue when they start airbrushing what to buy or what to do. Then when they go to purchase an airbrush they get what is referred to as sticker shock. A decent airbrush will set your modeling budget back quite a bit. Then you need to get a air source such as compressor. Once again sticker shock. Now you could be looking at several hundred dollars just to get going to airbrush.

This kit is just not for beginners either with a kit like this the more experienced modeler will want one to put into his repair kit for contests or for traveling, and with Testors easy cleaning and tip replacement your practically a model shop on the go. This is also a great solution for when you have forgotten to paint a piece or component . With conventional airbrush systems this would mean extensive clean up, not with the Testors just keep spraying clean thinner till it blows clear and voila, your finished.
